Thanks everybody!

Phew! That’s a wrap on another amazing Big Ass Boombox! We heard a bunch of people thanking The Hoot Hoots for putting this on, but this festival was made possible by the hard work and support of MANY awesome people, including Jared Cortese and Dominic Cortese from The Jesus RehabJulia Massey, Mike Gil from SICK KIDS XOXO, Shaina Foley and Hunter and Jonathan and the whole crew from the Crocodile, The Upstairs, and the 2312 Gallery, Caleb Thompson and Jake Uitti from The Great Um (who along with Matt Kelsey organized the writers stage), Jeff Bazz for filling in on sound last minute, Chelsea and Laurel from Mrs. Howl for being social media all stars, American Music, Wild Magnificence, Equal Exchange, and Tom Douglas Restaurants for their financial support, Seattle Weekly, numerous volunteers who helped MC and man the merch tables, and ALL THE BANDS WHO FILLED THIS WEEKEND WITH SO MUCH GREAT MUSIC! We love this city and we love this music community, and WE CAN’T WAIT UNTIL NEXT TIME!

Call for volunteers!

Boombox is free for you to attend and enjoy, in order to make that happen we have some lovely sponsors but we also run the entire festival with volunteers.  We need people to help move gear on and off stage, we need people to help set up and tear down each night, as well as run the merchandise tables for the artists.  If you or anyone you know would like to be a volunteer, please send us an e-mail  We could use your help!

Thank you in advance!

This could be you!
